Los Angeles Lakers rookie and former Volunteer Dalton Knecht was among the people in attendance on Saturday as No. 7 Tennessee hosted Kent State at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
Knecht was in town for the weekend and managed to get in a workout on the court at the team practice facility. He was spotted on the sidelines during the matchup and even participated in the Volunteers’ post-touchdown pushup celebration with the cheer team.
The 23-year-old was treated to a dominating 71-0 victory by the hometown team over the Golden Flashes. The Josh Heupel-led squad outgained Kent State in yardage 740-112 and had 32 first downs in the contest, compared to eight for the opposition.
