Weston McKennie leaves Leeds United on loan to return to Juventus Weston McKennie, who was on loan at Leeds United last season, has spoken of a return to Juventus in the summer. The American international moved to Elland Road under Jesse Marsch with an option to buy in January but returned to Turin after the Whites were relegated. He admits that he will return to Juventus because they are in crisis, which made his move easier. McKennie told Tutto Juve (September 8): “It was not easy to return to Juventus,” the 25-year-old midfielder said after retiring in the United States. – I left the club during the crisis, so coming back is like starting from scratch.
