Hull City finally agree to sign £50 million English Star Today’ Despite the January not opening… super star coming today.

Ryan Longman admits he did give big consideration to a potential summer move to Turkiye but felt it wasn’t the right time for his career, instead opting to join Millwall. The Hull City winger was given permission to leave the MKM Stadium on loan having been told he would struggle to play under Liam Rosenior, and secured a move to The Den where he linked up with former Tigers League One-winning star George Honeyman

Prior to that decision, though, Longman travelled to Istanbul to hold talks with Fatih Karagümrük over a season-long loan move to the Super Lig club, before deciding against it and returning to the capital – he made his debut full debut in the 3-0 defeat at home to Leeds United on Sunday.

Honeyman, Longman says, was a key confidant in helping him make the decision to move back to South London having spent a spell at AFC Wimbledon earlier in his career.

They were quite interested and Hull have good connections with Turikye because of their owners. I went out and had a look but, at the time, I didn’t feel like it was the right thing for me, my girlfriend and I have a dog as well,” Longman told LondonNewsOnline.
