Jurgen Klopp: "Je me fiche de savoir qui va gagner la Ligue des Champions" - Football | Tribuna.com

In recent months, Mohamed Salah has been linked to moves away from Liverpool, with Saudi Arabian clubs reportedly interested.
Mohamed Salah was coveted by Saudi Arabian clubs throughout the summer transfer window. Liverpool, though, was able to hang on. Ben Jacobs, speaking to Give Me Sport, claimed that the Reds are aware that their talisman is probably going to leave next summer, particularly given his contract predicament.

Salah’s contract expires in 2025, but Liverpool is aware that he will probably leave in 2024. They were able to reject a £150 million offer from Al-Ittihad this summer, but if Salah wants to go in a year, it will be much difficult to say no to decent money.

If Salah commits to Liverpool for this year and then says he wants to go then Liverpool may have to start planning for life without Salah. That kind of money could be very important to Liverpool over a number of windows as well. And there’s absolutely no doubt that the Saudi side is going to return for Salah.”

The Egyptian international has a contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2025, and the Reds will not want to lose him as a free agent. It makes sense for them to sell the player next summer so that they can recoup a substantial amount of money for him. Unless the Egyptian signs a new contract with Liverpool, it is highly unlikely that he will stay at Anfield beyond next summer.
