Nottingham Forest owner backs Steve Cooper despite poor form

Gustavo Scarpa wants to leave Nottingham Forest permanently in January. He is currently on loan at Olympiakos, but the arrangement will be discussed during the next transfer window. According to SBT journalist Alvaro Loureiro, the 29-year-old now wants to return to Palmeira for a change. Flamengo are looking for a player in January, but he wants to return to his old club. Forest signed Scarpa from Palmeiras in January 2023. At first it looked like the player would be a decent signing and he made 10 appearances for the Reds. Mets did not pay a transfer fee for Scarpa. It was a deal that was agreed last summer, but he decided to stay at Palmeira to help them win the league title. The versatile striker has made five appearances since joining Olympiaco on loan. He would still like to pump his fist to make it in Europe, but a move to Brazil could now tempt him. Scarpa, owned by Metsä, wants to move back to Brazil Palmeiras is currently second in the Brazilian Premier League. They are seven points behind leaders Botafogo and remain in contention this season as they chase another title.
