report news;Player ‘becoming a problem’ for club months after Liverpool exit – Growing frustration over transfer…..
Werder Bremen are becoming increasingly concerned about their decision to sign Naby Keita from Liverpool this summer with the player ‘becoming a problem’ for the club.

That’s according to SportBILD, who say the midfielder is ‘too prone to injury’ and there is growing frustration at Werder Bremen regarding the matter.

Keita joined the Bundesliga club after leaving Liverpool in the summer following an injury hit few years that had hampered his time at Anfield.

The hope was that he could get back to his best in the Bundesliga and he was seen as something of a coup for Bremen, who were more than excited about their deal for him.

That excitement has turned to disappointment, though, with Keita barely featuring thanks to several injury issues at the start of his time with the club.

He battled back from those but has now suffered ‘the next set back’, picking up a muscle injury in his thigh that means he will be out for weeks once more.

That’s frustrating for Bremen who had considered him their ‘great hope’ for this season, with the club carefully building him up over the past few weeks knowing his injury problems at Liverpool.

Now he is ‘becoming a problem’ for the club, who, unlike teams such as Stuttgart, ignored his medical records and signed him from Liverpool despite them. Stuttgart were one of several who were reportedly ‘quickly deterred’ by what they saw.

Keita’s fitness issues are one thing but there is also the fact he will be missing in January and February for the Africa Cup of Nations, which he has insisted he wants to be a part of with Guinea.

That will see him miss even more of the season, adding to his absences through injury and to the frustration currently being felt at Werder Bremen.
