How is Jurgen Klopp's new-look Liverpool midfield shaping up? | Football News | Sky Sports

Liverpool could be without as many as six first-team players for Saturday’s big match against Everton.

After two Premier League games on the road, the Reds are back at Anfield this weekend. With their local rivals in town, Liverpool simply have to get back to winning ways.

It won’t be easy against Sean Dyche’s side though, the Toffees are coming off the back of a 3-0 win against Bournemouth. And according to The Mirror, Liverpool’s job will be made slightly more difficult with half a dozen absences in their squad.

Curtis Jones is still suspended and certain to miss out, while Thiago Alcantara and Caoimhin Kelleher reportedly have no chance of playing either.

Meanwhile, the trio of Cody Gakpo, Stefan Bajcetic and Andy Robertson are said to be ‘doubtful’ to make it.

Robertson’s name may as well be added to the ‘certain’ pile, though. He could be missing for a long while. That he’s claimed to be still in with a chance is likely down to the fact that the full extent of his shoulder injury is yet to be revealed.

For Everton, they’re reportedly in slightly better shape. Dyche could be missing four first-team players, though. Dele Alli, Seamus Coleman, Andre Gomes and Idrissa Gana Gueye are all said to be doubts.
