Millwall FC vs Preston North End Tickets | P1 Travel

JAKE COOPER says the last few days have been “a bit crazy” as Millwall’s players adjusted to life after Gary Rowett.

The head coach mutually agreed to depart the club just days before the end of the international break.

Despite events off the pitch, the Lions went to third-place Preston and were good value for their 1-1 draw.

Cooper says the new normal has taking some time to get used to.

He told NewsAtDen after yesterday’s game: “It’s been a bit all over the place if I’m honest, it’s been a bit crazy. Not knowing what’s going on and all of that sort of thing. But Adam came in on Thursday and told us how it was and how he wanted to go about it and the lads have bought into that.

“Ads is a very popular person in the football club so we’re all focused on trying to get results for him and the fans who have travelled up here today and when we go back on Tuesday, that will be our main focus.”
