Liverpool report £46m pre-tax loss - Punch Newspapers

to Sport and the LFC Transfer Room’s Twitter account, Liverpool has made a bid for Leeds United brazil winger
The agent for the Brazilian international, Deco, reportedly told teams that his client does not plan to extend his contract with the Whites and would wish to move at the conclusion of the 2023–24 season.

Given that, the story continues by stating that Liverpool and Chelsea have made approaches to the 25-year-old’s agency.

Raphinha is currently worth €50 million on the market.

We wouldn’t object to the club making a bid for Raphinha since he’s a very good player.
In 28 appearances for Leeds United’s first team this season, the winger has nine goals and three assists.

Raphinha’s Who Scored player rating for the club season of 2021–22 has been 7.05 on average.

The former fullback for Manchester United Gary Neville undoubtedly admires the Brazilian international.

The 47-year-old was quoted by United Transfer Room as saying this to Sky Sports: “He’s a top player, I think a lot of clubs would be looking at him if they were to go down (Leeds United relegated).”

“I understand why he was dropped toward the end of (Marcelo) Bielsa’s administration because of claims he was unreliable, but every time I see him, I think, “I wouldn’t like to play against him.”
Liverpool does, however, have a wide range of offensive alternatives. If the Reds are interested in Raphinha, it does raise the possibility that one of the team’s more experienced forwards will depart in the summer.

One of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, or Roberto Firmino may be sold in the upcoming months, according to reports.

The aforementioned players, in our opinion, still have a lot to offer. Salah, Mane, and Firmino are all between the ages of 29 and 30, demonstrating that their professional lives are far from done.

Only Raphinha should enter the room so that Liverpool’s depth at forward is increased. None of us want him to take their place.

Given the depth at the team now, Liverpool shouldn’t necessarily need to sign a forward at the moment. You can never have too many quality players on your roster, though.
