LSU’s track and field season started with a bang last week. At the LSU Purple Tiger, ten LSU athletes finished their respective events in first place, establishing LSU’s determination to dominate their opponents for the season ahead. Among the Tigers who clinched victories last week at Baton Rouge, a five-time SEC champion was in the limelight for her sensational performance in the LSU home meet. her performance in the 60m hurdles even prompted a vehement cheer from the popular basketball player Angel Reese.

Angel Reese has been getting her mojo back in recent weeks with her gradually improving performances. The LSU Tiger basketball player is now looking to extend her cheerleading skills to help her college teammates dominate the tracks as well. And it looks like Reese’s support fuelled more gas to the young athlete’s fire.

am so angry with the coaching staff and clinicians at LSU

I am so angry with the coaching staff and clinicians at LSU. I knew Brianna was not 100%. I stated that in my previous post days ago. Brianna Lyston was hurt from Conference. I saw it and made mention of it then also. My question is why was she allowed to carry the same load all the way up to the National Championship? I ran the sprints in college and have been a coach for over 30 years. I also do some sport consulting for a number of years now.

A basic principle in sport is you should only allowed your athletes to run pain free. If I could see that Brianna was hurt during her race at Conference by watching her race on TV, how comes her coaches and clinicians didn’t see that? I am calling it out loud. I believe it is pure SABOTAGE. She is a super pro prospect and LSU is setting back her career. I am super angry. 😠😡 –Coach KC: Advance Performance Group.

LSU has gotten her to her PB. She has been nursing a sore leg. Everyone on that track is nursing something or training through something. If she was “injured” she would not have broken 11.00 so kill that narrative right now. She obviously lost some fitness as she was not competitive at 200m. She scored the most points she could for her team. She ran great in the 4×100 and the 100. Long was just better. Get over it. She’s running her fastest, getting a free education and leveraging NIL. She made the right decision to end her season. Most of the ncaa athletes fizzle bc they can’t maintain their peak form for three months. It becomes diminishing returns.
