Caleb Wilson, the No. 4-ranked recruit of the 2025 class, was in Lexington over the weekend for an official visit to coach Mark Pope’s Kentucky. The five-star forward is one of the highly recruited prospects, with offers from multiple major programs like Auburn, Alabama, North Carolina, Duke, Kansas and Georgia Tech.
Wilson shared pictures from his visit to Instagram on Sunday with the caption:
“The nation of blue and white
He had previously commented on his admiration for the Kentucky Wildcats to the Herald-Leader in August 2023.
“I’ve always been a Kentucky fan,” Wilson said. “I’ve never had a dream school but I’ve always liked Kentucky, I like Rupp Arena. (It’s a) big stage.”
The Wildcats have been aggressive in their pursuit of the five-star recruit and went all out to welcome him. Caleb Wilson and his family touched down in Lexington late Thursday, and Mark Pope was present with his coaching staff, including Alvin Brooks III, Jason Hart, Mikhail McLean, Mark Fox and more, at the airport.
