Sierra McClain Leave the 126 in 9-1-1: Lone Star…

Why Did Judd Leave the 126 in 9-1-1: Lone Star?

9-1-1: Lone Star began airing in 2020 on Fox and quickly developed a regular fanbase. Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) plays a fire captain who is known for rebuilding a fire station from the ground up in New York City after 9/11.

When a firehouse in Austin, Texas, loses all but one of its firefighters in a terrible accident at a fertilizer company, the Austin fire chief comes to Owen for help. Owen and his son, TK (Ronen Rubenstein), relocate and begin rebuilding the 126, eventually falling in love with Austin and the family they have built there.

When Owen arrives in Austin and begins remodeling and re-staffing the 126, he’s confronted by the lone firefighter who survived the fire at the fertilizer plant, Judd Ryder (Jim Parrack).

Judd and Owen struggle at first, but eventually, they come to rely on each other and build a long-lasting friendship, so when Judd chooses to retire at the end of Season 4, it has a real impact on Owen. Now that Season 5 of 9-1-1: Lone Star has begun, it’s obvious that the decision is going to have a real impact on Judd as well.
