Florida State football continues to strengthen its defensive line through the transfer portal, earning the commitment of Tennessee’s Jayson Jenkins, according to his agency A&P Sports Agency.
Jenkins visited FSU on Saturday and the Seminoles moved quickly to add the program’s fourth defensive line transfer in the portal.
He had his best season for the Volunteers in 2024, recording nine total tackles and two sacks, adding one forced fumble. In his three seasons, he totaled 15 tackles.
He joins Nebraska’s James Williams, Western Kentucky’s Deante McCray and Coastal Carolina’s Deamontae Diggs in transferring to the Seminoles.
