On Saturday morning, the Gamecocks signed its sixth defensive transfer, inking Bowling Green State transfer defensive tackle Davonte Miles.

Miles, who will begin his junior year at South Carolina, played in 11 games for Bowling Green this past season, racking up a dozen tackles and one tackle for loss. A former three-star prospect from Missouri, the 6-foot-5, 275-pound Miles committed to Bowling Green after playing both defensive tackle and left tackle in high school.
