Now’s your chance to live out your wildest dream of suiting up for Kentucky Basketball.
On Friday, the school announced that an open tryout for the 2024-25 season will be held on August 30th from 6:30-8 am ET in the Joe Craft Center for those invited to participate.
The tryout is open to all full-time, academically eligible UK students.

The Interest Email should include the following information:
First and Last Name
UK ID Number
UK Email
Cell Phone Number
Playing Experience (High School, JUCO, Transfer, YMCA Rec League, Youth Group Church League, etc.) & Profile (Height, Weight, etc.)
High School Coach Contact Info
Note: If you have been selected for tryouts, you will receive a Try-Out Authorization Form, which will be emailed to your UK email.
The following Required Documents will need to be submitted with your Try-Out Authorization Form before Monday, August 26th in order to be cleared to try out.
Completed Basketball Physical Paperwork (you can schedule an appointment with your primary care doctor or go to student health)
Copy of the FRONT and BACK of your Insurance Card.
Copy of Sickle Cell Test (with Negative Test Result) – test results take a few days to process.
