Kentucky fans were ready to kick John Calipari out of town by the time he left, but now, they’re upset that he’s brought some former players along with him to Arkansas.
Calipari’s NBA track record goes without saying. He produced 25 lottery picks at Kentucky, and now that he’s at Arkansas, some of those former Wildcats are making stops in Hog Country to visit with their old coach.
Tyler Ulis is the most obvious example, since he left the Kentucky staff to follow Calipari and become a coach at Arkansas. But that’s an understandable move for Ulis, who has a terrific coaching opportunity under Calipari that ought to better his career.
