Add that to the limited opportunities players had to make a name on the camp scene that previous summer, and many from the high school Class of 2021 were left without options.

Busha was among them.

“It would be a tragedy if no one offers John,” his high school coach, Wade Taylor, told Treasure Coast Newspapers in Dec. 2020 as the early signing period came and went without Busha receiving interest. “I think he would have offers if coaches had come through and put eyes on him. That’s the biggest problem right now. No one has seen this class.”
