On Tuesday, the Big Ten Conference made a major announcement regarding Ohio State star freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, naming him the 2024 Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year as well as the Thompson-Randle El Freshman of the Year.

It’s a pair of huge honors for Smith, who broke onto the scene as a freshman and became a top option for quarterback Will Howard.
Smith led Ohio State in receiving yards (974) and touchdowns (10) while being second on the team in receptions (57).
