The Cincinnati Bengals selected Henry in the third round (83rd overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played for the Bengals from 2005 to 2008. During his time with the Bengals, Henry had 119 receptions for 1,826 yards and 21 touchdowns.

 

Henry’s NFL career was marked by off-field issues, including multiple arrests and suspensions. He was released by the Bengals in 2008.

*Tragic Death*

 

Tragically, Chris Henry died on December 17, 2009, at the age of 26. He fell out of the back of a pickup truck during a domestic dispute with his fiancée in Charlotte, North Carolina. Henry died the next day from injuries sustained in the accident.
