According to a report from,Aggies’ star wide receiver Mario Craver is a “true game-time decision” for Saturday’s matchup against South Carolina. Craver has been dealing with an undisclosed injury for a couple of weeks now. The sophomore entered the injury tent in the second half against Missouri. He finished that game with six receptions for 59 yards.

If Craver isn’t available, the expectation is that Ashton Bethel-Roman or Terry Bussey will step in as the No. 2 option for Marcel Reed against the Gamecocks.

Missing Craver would be a blow to the offense in College Station, as he has been their leading receiver up to this point with 46 catches for 775 yards and four touchdowns. However, the Aggies are heavy favorites in this game at home, and with a non-conference game against Samford next weekend, it may be beneficial for Texas A&M to rest Craver for the time being and make sure he is fully healthy for the regular-season finale against the Texas Longhorns in three weeks.
