South Carolina Women’s Basketball Unveils “PRO” Theme for 2026–27…

COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina women’s basketball has officially selected “PRO” as its theme for the 2026–27 season, giving the Gamecocks a clear identity heading into the new campaign.
The program says the theme represents a Gamecock shaped by preparation, discipline, accountability, leadership and an uncompromising standard of excellence. The message is built around preparing and competing with a professional mindset before earning that title.
The theme also features creative wordplay, including “The PROgram,” “PROcess,” “PROgress” and “PROdUction,” which South Carolina plans to incorporate throughout the season.
The announcement gives fans an early look at the identity the team will carry into 2026–27. South Carolina is scheduled to play College of Charleston in an exhibition at Credit One Stadium in Charleston on Sept. 27, before opening the official season against Maryland in Paris on Nov. 2.
With the new theme now revealed, attention turns toward how the Gamecocks will bring the “PRO” message to life throughout the upcoming season.
