BREAKING NEWS; Clemson tigers land 3 player’s  ⭐ same Time ,decommit flip to Clemson tigers  over Tennessee and Alabama chose Clemson tigers..

Dabo Swinney continues to adapt to the evolving college football landscape, securing another key player through the transfer portal.

Former Purdue defensive end Alex Heldt announced his commitment to Clemson, marking the Tigers’ second impactful portal addition this week. Heldt, a towering 6-foot-6, 265-pound edge rusher, made his mark during the 2023 season, recording 56 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, and 16 quarterback pressures across 12 games for the Boilermakers.

Ranked as the No. 1 edge rusher in the transfer portal by On3, Heldt was highly sought after, taking visits to LSU and Texas A&M before choosing Clemson. Originally a three-star recruit, he now brings two years of eligibility and a proven track record to the Tigers’ defense.

This addition follows the signing of wide receiver Tristan Smith from Southeast Missouri State earlier this week. While Swinney has previously dipped into the portal for quarterback depth, these recent moves represent the most significant additions Clemson has made in the portal era.

Swinney’s willingness to adapt and address roster needs through transfers could pay dividends as the Tigers aim to remain competitive on the national stage.
