The Los Angeles Lakers are on a three-game losing streak after falling to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. Now 10-7 on the season, Los Angeles enters Wednesday tied with Phoenix for fifth in the Western Conference standings.

 

While the Lakers were getting blown out in Phoenix, their G League affiliate picked up a 95-85 win over the San Diego Clippers at UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo. This was the second of three straight home games for South Bay, but rookie guard Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, did not appear in either contest.

 

The Lakers reported on Sunday (via Trevor Lane of Lakers Nation) that Bronny James had been assigned to South Bay ahead of this three-game home stand, which is why his absence from the lineup had fans confused.
