Breaking News; Texas Longhorns Elite QB Arch Manning Flips Commitment to Michigan wolverines Football 2025 Class over auburn and Alabama…

Plenty of people have opinions of the new 12-team College Football Playoff. However, the national championship matchup is one that Michigan football fans would certainly like to forget.

That’s because the title game will feature not one but two Michigan football rivals. On Jan. 20, Ohio State will square off against Notre Dame for the national championship of college football. The Buckeyes beat Texas 28-14 one day after Notre Dame beat Penn State 27-24.

Michigan football has been waiting on official word from a few veteran players on whether or not they will return to the Michigan Wolverines for the 2025 season.

Some of these names include Rayshaun Benny and Jaishawn Barham. They are leaning towards returning but Benny dominated in the ReliaQuest Bowl and Barham has a bright NFL future.

It remains to be seen if those guys return. However, one key Michigan football veteran announced his return for the 2025 season and that’s fullback/tight end Max Bredeson.

Flat out, Bredeson is a warrior. He’s the heart and soul of this Michigan football team and his return for the 2025 season is huge. Not only is he probably the best blocking fullback in college football, he’s a team captain and a huge part of the championship culture Michigan has

Honestly, I think we all know that Ohio State is going to win the national title. It feels like their destiny at this point, even though it’s still going to be hilarious that Buckeye fans will have to celebrate a national championship season that doesn’t include a win over Michigan.

Obviously, winning the national title is awesome. Ohio State fans should be excited about the chance to knock off the Irish to win the College Football Playoff. If Ryan Day’s team finishes it off, it will be cap off a tremendous four-game run for Ohio State.

But that national championship won’t compare to the title won by Michigan football in 2023-24. The Wolverines went 15-0, beat Ohio State, and won the Big Ten championship. Thanks to the 13-10 loss to Michigan, on its home field, Ohio State didn’t win the Big Ten.

The Buckeyes have also lost four in a row over Michigan. Guys like Jack Sawyer might finally get a national championship ring, but that still won’t change the fact that he and his other Buckeyes have never beaten the Wolverines and will never get that pair of gold pants.

So even though it sucks watching two Michigan football rivals duke it out, even if the Buckeyes win, Michigan fans will still have bragging rights as the Buckeyes celebrate the most empty national championship imaginable. built.
