Yes, Jalen Milroe will enter the 2025 NFL Draft. The Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback will be looking to improve his draft stock by balling out in the 2024 season.

Milroe is currently regarded as a day-two pick, with just a few teams that need starting-caliber QBs in 2025. Carson Beck, Shedeur Sanders, and Quinn Ewers are currently ahead of him on most mock boards. However, an elite season with Kalen DeBoer’s side could put Milroe in Day 1 contention.

Jalen Milroe didn’t just have a good weekend of practice, if you ask Kalen DeBoer; The two padded practices have been some of Milroe’s finest work.

“I thought yesterday and today, took the best steps I’ve seen since I’ve been here,” DeBoer said of the Alabama football quarterback. “The way he’s intentional about coming out. Even not just what you say, but how you do things. What your body language is and he gets that. That’s important, but he’s actually just really leading that way and then it leads to really him playing well and the other guys following suit.”

Specifically, a certain kind of pass impressed DeBoer on Sunday.

“He came out today again and really today threw the deep ball, probably as well as I’ve seen him throw,” DeBoer said. “That’s a lot of just guys and the timing and all that and his rhythm coming into play. Feeling more comfortable there. So some big plays that were made out there.”

DeBoer said he and offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan have been pushing Milroe. As a result, DeBoer has seen Milroe “raising his game.”

“He’s holding himself to a high standard,” DeBoer said. “It’s not just all talk.”
