BREAKING NEWS;Hugh Freeze announce Auburn football’s set to part ways with million mega Five-Star joining immediately…
The 2024 edition of Auburn football’s coaching staff will feature a solid mix of fresh faces and key returners. Head coach Hugh Freeze will begin his second season with two new coordinators, Derrick Nix and DJ Durkin, who take over for Philip Montgomery and Ron Roberts respectively.
Three other notable names have moved on from the program, Cadillac Williams, Jeremy Garrett, and Zac Etheridge. Auburn legend Cadillac Williams has moved on to the NFL, where he will coach running backs for the Las Vegas Raiders. Williams departs after being retained by Freeze on the 2023 staff after serving as Auburn’s interim head coach following the dismissal of Bryan Harsin. Likewise, Garrett has also bolted for the NFL, where he is now the defensive line coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Etheridge remains in the college ranks by moving to Houston to play the role of defensive backs coach.
