OFFICIAL: Rubén Sellés Returns to Hull City as Head Coach

Hull City have officially confirmed the return of Rubén Sellés as the club’s new head coach, marking a dramatic reunion between the Spaniard and the Tigers.

Sellés previously managed Hull City during the 2024/25 season, guiding the club to Championship survival before departing at the end of the campaign. Now, after spells away from the MKM Stadium, the 43-year-old has returned with a renewed determination to lead the club forward.

Speaking after his appointment, Sellés said: “Hull City is a special club to me. I am delighted to be back and ready to give everything for the supporters, the players, and this football club.”

Club owner Acun Ilıcalı welcomed the return, stating that Sellés’ knowledge of the club and his passion for the project made him the ideal choice to lead the Tigers into a new era.
