BREAKING: ALICIA TOURNEBIZE FACES QUESTIONS AFTER MARYLAND GAME AS DAWN STALEY’S DECISION RAISES CONCERNS!
South Carolina Gamecocks fans are discussing Alicia Tournebize’s performance following the team’s hard-fought 101–93 victory over Maryland in Paris.
The French forward found herself in early foul trouble, picking up two personal fouls in the first quarter. The situation affected her playing time as head coach Dawn Staley relied more heavily on experienced players during the closely contested game.
Although Tournebize’s performance attracted attention, there has been no official announcement of a suspension or disciplinary action against her.
Staley acknowledged that Tournebize could have received more playing time if she had avoided early foul trouble.
For the Gamecocks, the situation highlights an important area of development as the season progresses. Tournebize will need to continue improving her discipline, physicality and defensive decision-making to earn more opportunities.
Fans will now be watching closely to see how she responds in South Carolina’s upcoming games.
The big question: Can Alicia Tournebize bounce back and earn a bigger role in Dawn Staley’s rotation?
