BREAKING: TESSA JOHNSON MAKES SHOCKING REVELATION AFTER MARYLAND GAME AS DAWN STALEY’S GAMECOCKS FACE NEW QUESTIONS!

South Carolina Gamecocks star Tessa Johnson has become a major talking point following the team’s hard-fought 101–93 victory over Maryland in Paris.

Despite securing the season-opening win, the performance has raised questions about South Carolina’s ability to maintain its dominance throughout an entire game.

Johnson finished with 15 points, six rebounds and five assists, helping the Gamecocks survive Maryland’s second-half comeback.

However, Maryland’s late pressure exposed areas South Carolina still needs to improve. After building a 28-point halftime advantage, the Gamecocks allowed their opponents to fight their way back into the contest.

Head coach Dawn Staley will certainly want her team to address those defensive concerns before the next challenge.

Johnson’s performance was encouraging, but fans are eager to hear more about her thoughts following the dramatic contest.

For South Carolina, winning is important, but maintaining control for all four quarters remains the bigger challenge.

Will Dawn Staley make changes before the Gamecocks’ next big test?
