After facing end injury Redshirt freshman LaNorris Sellers announce his resignation and departure…

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Few quarterbacks at South Carolina were as talented or impactful the past couple of decades as Spencer Rattler. Now, freshman LaNorris Sellers is ready to show he’s capable of leading the way like his good friend.
“My main goal is to win, just really win,” Sellers said. “Just bring the team along, bring the offense along, be really efficient.”
Sellers has plenty to live up to. Rattler spent his final two college seasons with the Gamecocks, throwing for 6,212 yards and 30 touchdowns. Behind Rattler, South Carolina pulled off a pair of landmark victories in 2022, defeating top 10 opponents in Tennessee and Clemson and essentially eliminating both teams from College Football Playoff contention.
Redshirt freshman LaNorris Sellers is preparing for the QB1 spotlight this season.
“People are going to say stuff, good stuff bad stuff, I’ve just got to focus on my game,” said Sellers.
After a year learning from spencer rattler – the Florence product is ready to bring his own style to the pocket
“Be able to throw it and run it, open up the playbook a little bit,” said Sellers.
Although Sellers took snaps with the ones on Friday, a starting spot still has to be earned through camp.
Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains has his hands full of talent in year two with the Gamecocks.
