Bayern Munich Reportedly Monitoring Andreas Schjelderup Ahead of Future Move

FC Bayern Munich are reportedly keeping an eye on Benfica winger Andreas Schjelderup as they assess attacking options for the future.

The Norwegian winger has attracted attention after establishing himself as an important attacking player at Benfica. The club’s official profile lists Schjelderup as a forward, with the 21-year-old having joined Benfica from FC Nordsjælland in January 2023.

Schjelderup is capable of operating from the wing and has developed into a player attracting interest from clubs across Europe. Recent reports have linked him with several teams, although Bayern’s interest has not been officially confirmed by either club.

One potential obstacle is his Benfica contract. Reports list the agreement as running until 2028, with a €100 million release clause.

For Bayern, any approach would therefore depend on negotiations with Benfica and the club’s assessment of its future attacking needs.

For now, Schjelderup remains a Benfica player, while speculation continues over whether Bayern could eventually make a move.
