Breaking news; Texas longhorn was ruled Jay’Vion Cole confirm his resignation leaving…
After losing Terrance Brooks to the transfer portal following the conclusion of spring practice, Texas needed to add some depth to their secondary given that Brooks had logged 19 starts during his time in Austin.
Cole became a starter for the Spartans early in the season and put together a sophomore campaign where he led the Mountain West in PBUs with ten (14th in the country) and led the team in interceptions with three. Cole received an All-Conference honorable mention in 2023 from the MWC but also received All-Conference accolades from Pro Football Focus for his outstanding season.
