Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders’ collegiate careers were teeming with highlights, from leaping catches for Hail Mary touchdowns to jaw-dropping interceptions and everything in between.

 

The 2024 Alamo Bowl wasn’t one of them. The prospective top-five picks in the 2025 NFL Draft authored up some moments of magic against BYU on Saturday night. But unfortunately, they were fleeting — Colorado fell to BYU, 36-14, spelling a frustrating end to a momentous season in Boulderfrom its own 28-yard line, Shedeur Sanders connected with Travis Hunter for a 58-yard completion. But the drive ended in a missed field goal for the Buffaloes, leaving the score at 10-0.

 

8:15 p.m.: BYU got on the board first, as L.J. Martin punched the ball in from the 1-yard line for a touchdown with 7:10 remaining in the first quarter.
