South Carolina is the No. 21 team in the country per the new CFP rankings
It’s hard not to argue with that. Some of the teams ahead of USC include Washington State, Kansas State, Clemson, Louisville and other squads who we think the Gamecocks would be able to take down. This weekend, a massive game is on the way for Beamer and his guys to send another statement.
That’s because No. 23 Missouri (in the CFP) is next up on the schedule. With a win, South Carolina, fresh off a victory over Vanderbilt, will build an even stronger resume. With a loss, however, then it will be a big step backwards for Beamer and his guys.
Let’s hope a win is posted in this one, as fans would love to see South Carolina ranked higher once next Tuesday night gets here. On both sides of this ball, the Gamecocks are displaying quality football. They’ll be ready to have that be the case once again against Missouri in what should be a fun SEC matchup
