Clemson DE Parker announces return to program for his junior season
Clemson All-ACC sophomore defensive end TJ Parker announced via social media Friday night that he’ll return to the Tigers in 2025 for his junior season.
As a player just two years removed from high school, Parker is not yet eligible for the NFL Draft.
With that being the case, the fact that he felt the need to announced to the world that he’s returning to the only program he’s played for gives the impression he was contemplating a potential move to another program, a constant reality in the current state of NIL allure.
In 2024, Parker had 57 tackles including 19.5 for loss and 11 sacks. He also had a Clemson record 6 forced fumbles.
His efforts not only earned him first team All-ACC but additionally, second team All-American.
