E.J. WarnerE.J. Warner is an American college football quarterback who currently plays for the Fresno State Bulldogs. He’s the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, which is pretty cool.¹
Warner has had an impressive college career so far, playing for Temple University and Rice University before transferring to Fresno State in January 2025. At Temple, he was named the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Rookie of the Year in 2022 after throwing for 3,028 yards and 18 touchdowns.
As a quarterback, Warner is known for his accuracy, pocket presence, and ability to extend plays under pressure. He’s also shown impressive leadership skills, which will likely make him a top contender for the starting quarterback spot at Fresno State.²
It’s worth noting that Warner had initially committed to Notre Dame, but ultimately decided to join Fresno State instead. His father, Kurt Warner, expressed his excitement about E.J.’s decision on social media, saying “Proud dad moment”.³
