Breaking news:Quinn Ewers announce his resignation and departure leaving Texas Longhorn’s…

The Texas Longhorn’s Quinn Ewers did little to calm fears he could be set to leave the NCAA program as he continues to attract attention from the NFL after making 21 passing touchdowns in 2024.

The 19-year-old quarterback will take to the field at the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium when he faces the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, November 23 for his side’s final home game of the season, and potentially his last.

After making 1898 passing yards and allowing just six interceptions along with those 21 touchdowns, the youngster is a sure pick to head to the NFL if he chooses to as he still has another year of eligibility left.

And with Arch Manning on the sidelines showing a significant degree or promise too, the Longhorns’ QB could head to the professional stage to make way for his replacement as he has nothing left to prove, and it’s not something he counted out.

“Who knows,” Ewers said of a potential move to the NFL in the upcoming 2025 draft. “I’m just trying to win. Trying to win this week.”

Ewers will look to lead the 9-1 Longhorns to victory over the 1-6 Wildcats in what should, in theory, be a fairly routine affair for the team hailing from the Lone Star State as they bid to secure the Southeastern Conference.

They’re currently on a three-game winning run and that has seen them jump ahead of the Texas A&M, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Tennessee Volunteers as an incredible late-season charge captivates their fans.

The Longhorns vs the Wildcats will take place on Saturday, November 23 live on ABC/ESPN+ and can be watched from the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium at 15:30 ET/12:30 PT. Tickets are available for $77.
