Bringing families together to enjoy a story as little ones settle down for the evening, he reads Small’s Big Dream by Manjeet Mann, with illustrations by Amanda Quartey.

The seven-time Formula 1 World Champion tells the story of Small, a girl who thinks her dreams are too big for someone like her. But no matter how much she squashes them down, they spill out and carry her up high.

Talking about the book, Lewis Hamilton says: “I felt it was really inspiring, it reminded me of my childhood and the big dreams that I had as a kid.

“I know that there are many kids out there that have big dreams too. Perhaps there will be people telling them that their dream’s too big. But I feel like this story really emphasises that no dream is too big or small and as long as you believe in yourself and continue to work hard, stay focused and give it absolutely everything, anything is possible.”
