Olivia Hamlin, a 5-foot-9 guard from St. George, Utah, has committed to the University of Nebraska’s women’s basketball program for the 2025-26 season. Hamlin, who averaged 27.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 4.9 steals per game during her junior year at Snow Canyon High School, is ranked as the No. 2 player in Utah by Prep Girls Hoops and the No. 59 player nationally by Prospects Nation.

Her commitment to Nebraska came after considering offers from several top programs, including Clemson, UNLV, BYU, and Virginia Tech. Hamlin expressed her enthusiasm about joining the Cornhuskers, stating, “I thought it fit me really well. I visited there first on an unofficial visit and absolutely loved the coaches. Then on the official visit I got to meet the girls and loved them.”

Nebraska head coach Amy Williams praised Hamlin’s passion for basketball and her fit within the team’s system, noting that her energy and competitiveness will elevate the program’s culture.
