CLEMSON — Clemson football has an official date for its first conference regular-season game in 2025.
The ACC announced Friday that the Tigers will face Georgia Tech on Sept. 13 at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Time and network will be announced later this year, and Clemson’s full schedule will be released Monday
This will be the 89th meeting between these programs. Clemson defeated Georgia Tech 42-21 in its most recent matchup in 2023. The Tigers began facing the Yellow Jackets in 1898 and trail in the all-time series 50-
The ACC announced two other ACC games for Clemson. The Tigers’ first home ACC game is against Syracuse on Sept. 20. The Orange helped Clemson reach the ACC championship game last season after they beat Miami in Week 14. The Tigers also will travel to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to face the Tar Heels on Oct. 4. This will be Clemson’s first matchup against longtime NFL coach Bill Belichick.
Clemson knows the dates of seven of its games in 2025. It will start its season against LSU on Aug. 30 at Memorial Stadium. This will be a rematch of the 2020 national championship game, which LSU won 42-25.
The Tigers will host Troy, a Group of 5 program, on Sept. 6 and Furman, an in-state FCS school, on Nov. 22. They will conclude their season on the road at South Carolina for the 2025 Palmetto Bowl.
Clemson’s 2025 games that still to be announced are Boston College (road), Louisville (road), Duke (home), Florida State (home) and SMU (home).
