The Georgia Bulldogs are looking to bolster the team’s defense, but fans may have to wait a bit for the payoff. Kirby Smart is focused on getting Georgia back to Atlanta for the SEC Championship, but the Bulldogs head coach is also keeping an eye on 2025.
Georgia appears to be on the verge of landing not one, but two new stars. On3.com’s Steve Wiltfong just dropped new college football recruiting intel and has the Bulldogs landing a pair of five-stars.
Five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry and pass rusher Elijah Griffin may soon be heading to Athens.
“Manchester (Ga.) High five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry was back between The Hedges on Saturday for the Bulldogs victory over Auburn,” Wiltfong wrote in an Oct. 7, 2024, story. “He stayed the night and the in-state powerhouse remains the clear favorite.
“Terry is On3’s No. 2 ranked defensive lineman. The No. 1 prospect at the position Elijah Griffin takes his official to Athens this weekend. It’s his birthday this week and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him celebrate by becoming a Bulldog. Like Terry, Georgia is the clear team to beat for Griffin.”
