“I think it’s rewarding because of what last season ended up being and how our guys have responded, for the guys who could have left after last season but came back,” Beamer said. “We knew we weren’t that far off (last year) and I am happy for the guys that returned having the success they’re having.”
South Carolina hasn’t lost a game in over a month, and has won by over 21 points in four of the five SEC wins this season. Sellers has thrown 660 yards the last two games on 44-of-57 passing.
“We were 3-3 after Alabama and there was no panic, no pointing fingers, it was just continue to work, get better, to win five in a row, have eight wins, credit to the leadership,” Beamer said. “It goes back to the way we practice, we try to get better … that’s allowed us to play pretty good football in the month of November.”
