He was recently injured, suffering a shoulder injury that ruled him out for the rest of the season, but there’s no indication he’s leaving the team
The Hawks actually seem to be committed to Johnson, with reports suggesting they’re not interested in trading him despite his rising value. Johnson’s agent, Rich Paul, sparked controversy recently by suggesting the Milwaukee Bucks should trade for him, but the Hawks have made it clear they’re not looking to move Johnson ⁴ ⁵.
