Florida State football has been a disappointment in 2024, where they have a 1-9 record. The Seminoles were thought to win a conference championship and make the College Football Playoff in the offseason. However, the season isn’t built in the offseason… Just ask the Miami Hurricanes.
I thought that the Seminoles would have been motivated by the College Football Playoff snub, where an undefeated Florida State was left out in favor of a one-loss Alabama squad.
I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Head football coach Mike Norvell talked to former Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III on his podcast “Outta Pocket with RGIII” about the message that he wants to express the alumni and fan base.

As I have previously stated in an article before, Robert Griffin III was a big supporter of Florida State. Unlike his ESPN colleagues (such as Paul Finebaum and Greg McElroy), he stood his ground on why the Seminoles deserved to be in the College Football Playoff.
Ironically enough, after Griffin III stated something about Florida State being left out of the playoff, he was relieved of his duties by ESPN. I liked the creative and fun personality that he expressed when commentating on a variety of games (the MonStars are the best).
