Jeremiah Smith and the No. 8 seed Ohio State Buckeyes are gearing up for the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night, where they’ll take on the No. 7 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Although Smith had a quiet performance in the semifinal against No. 5 seed Texas, with just one catch for three yards, he made a major impact in the previous two CFP games, combining for 290 yards on 13 receptions.
Thanks to his success on the field, Smith announced a new NIL deal with Nintendo and Epic Games on Wednesday.
“Practice is done, time for some Fortnite on my Nintendo Switch,” Smith captioned his post.
Nintendo is known for its gaming consoles and popular video games. It released the Nintendo Switch on Mar. 3, 2017. On the other hand, Epic Games is a video game and software developer best known for creating the game Fortnite, which was released on July 21, 2017.
