Roquan Smith is a standout American football linebacker currently playing for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. Smith was selected by the Chicago Bears with the eighth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He quickly made an impact, recording a sack on his first career snap during his debut against the Green Bay Packers. Over his four seasons with the Bears, Smith established himself as one of the league’s premier linebackers, earning multiple Pro Bowl selections and All-Pro honors.

In October 2022, Smith was traded to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for linebacker A.J. Klein and second- and fifth-round draft picks. He continued to excel with the Ravens, earning AFC Defensive Player of the Month honors in December 2022 and signing a five-year, $100 million contract extension in January 2023, making him the highest-paid linebacker in NFL history at the time .
