Something doesn’t seem right in the reeling Braves clubhouse.

 

The Atlanta players, riding a three-game losing streak, held a team meeting before Tuesday’s contest against the Reds as they look to get back on track.

 

Manager Brian Snitker, who’s been the top guy in the dugout since 2016, was left out of the meeting, per The Athletic’s David O’BriThe Detroit Tigers activated Maeda — a veteran right-hander who missed his last two starts with a viral illness — from the injured list, making him the starter for Friday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Comerica Park.

“He’s ready to go,” manager A.J. Hinch said. “We wanted to get him through his normal routine prep, and once he became available, it’s easy to put him in there, and we needed to make a transaction to make that happenen.
