In a remarkable display of resilience and determination, Westinghouse Academy’s football team achieved a stunning 68–0 victory in the Pittsburgh-area City League playoffs, despite fielding only 11 players. The circumstances leading up to the game were challenging. Following a previous matchup against University Prep, a sideline altercation resulted in the suspension of 27 players. Consequently, only 11 athletes were eligible to play in the crucial playoff game against Perry. Despite this significant setback, the team, under the guidance of Coach Donta Green, remained focused and prepared to face the challenge head-on.

With no substitutes available, each player was required to play both offensive and defensive roles throughout the game.
