For dedicated music fanatic Derek Schaefer, Los Angeles is a cornucopia of sights, sounds and tastes. During the past 30 years — including nearly 20 as a marketing executive at AEG/Goldenvoice (producers of Coachella) — he has ventured out three or four times a week to satisfy his urge to merge into the lifeblood of the city, amassing thousands of set lists and concert stubs going back as far as 1985.
