Breaking news;.Zach Wilson made  significant impact in the Denver Bronco….

Zach Wilson made a significant impact in the Denver Broncos’ final preseason game, positioning himself as a strong contender for the No. 2 quarterback role this season.

The former first-round pick by the Jets demonstrated his potential in the Broncos’ dominant 38-12 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Wilson completed 16 of 25 passes, accumulating 251 yards and throwing two touchdown passes, which highlighted his ability to manage the offense effectively.

Throughout training camp, Wilson has been competing for the backup quarterback spot in Denver, and his performance in this preseason finale could be the deciding factor.

One of the standout moments of the game was his 46-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Brandon Johnson in the fourth quarter, which underscored his deep-ball accuracy.

Jarrett Stidham also saw limited action during the game, completing two of four pass attempts for 28 yards before Wilson took over late in the first quarter and led the offense for most of the game.

Coach wants to keep all three QBs

While rookie Bo Nix has already secured the starting quarterback position, head coach Sean Payton has expressed a desire to keep all three quarterbacks on the roster, given their unique strengths.

“Both those guys looked good,” he said. “We feel comfortable with all three.”
